On the other end of a stroke – I imagine as with any life changing experience – looking at the world around you is a new experience. New set of eyes, new set of feelings. The sheer appreciation to be alive is profound. This song, especially the chorus, and Sia’s powerful voice still resonates with how thankful I am to be alive.
